Job summary

Palm Beach Tan - Johnson/Clarke, Inc. in Maplewood, MO is seeking energetic individuals for frontline sales and customer service roles at our tanning, skin care, and wellness brand.

You will engage customers with confidence, discuss tanning options, and ensure compliance with safety and company guidelines while maintaining a welcoming salon. Responsibilities include meeting daily sales goals, delivering upbeat consultations, managing cash, and keeping the space organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Retail, Customer Service or Sales Experience helpful, but not required.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for up to 7 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals (measured daily, weekly, and monthly).
• Provide professional, upbeat customer consultations.
• Consult with customers on skin care, wellness options, sunbed and spray tanning options, and educate them on the Golden Rules of Tanning while ensuring all company and legal guidelines are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized salon environment.
• Handle cash transactions and oversee opening/closing duties.
• Complete daily administrative tasks and track goals.
