Job summary

CapitolHill Consortium for Counseling & Consultation LLC is seeking one or more Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join a collaborative clinical team and provide high-quality, culturally responsive, patient-centered care across the lifespan in the Washington DC region.

We offer flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time with remote, hybrid, or in-office options), dedicated administrative support, and an inclusive, multidisciplinary environment that supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted NP/APRN license in Virginia or Maryland; DC preferred.
• Current national Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Prescriptive authority, if applicable.
• Ability to provide high-quality, ethical, patient-centered care.
• Cultural responsiveness and inclusivity in care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and health evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
• Provide diagnosis and treatment within scope of practice.
• Prescribe and manage medications.
• Coordinate with labs and pharmacies for med management.
• Monitor patient progress and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, options, wellness.
• Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, social workers, and other providers.
• Coordinate care and referrals as clinically indicated.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
