Mercy is seeking a Gig Ultrasound Technologist to operate imaging equipment across Mercy facilities. The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality imaging, and collaboration with healthcare teams to support diagnostic and treatment processes.

The position offers per diem/PRN scheduling with base rates around $45/hour, and incentives such as W-2 employment and flexible scheduling. The role requires ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and/or BLS credentials and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• 2 applicable registrations with ARDMS/ARRT/CCI OR BLS.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment and software to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain high-quality imaging standards.
• Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Sonography program with clinical hours

1 year of relevant ultrasound experience

ARDMS/ARRT/CCI OR BLS certifications

State licensure as required
