Job summary

Ecumen North Branch is seeking a Speech Therapist to provide and direct services for patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. This PRN/casual role offers flexible scheduling up to 20 hours per week on-site at our North Branch location.

You will administer evaluations, coordinate treatment plans, document progress, and support residents while meeting CMS and HIPAA requirements. A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current license,State certification, or registration as a Speech Therapist in good standing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations including irregular hours and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Administers hearing or speech/language evaluations, tests, or examinations to assess impairments.
• Coordinates treatment plan with resident, family, and team members.
• Records information on initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge.
• Monitors patient response to intervention and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Instructs clients in communication techniques including sign language and lip reading.
• Follows CMS and HIPAA guidelines and other payor requirements.
• Maintains licenses/certifications and renewals as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
