Job summary

Clovernook Healthcare, Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for PRN dayshift in a skilled nursing and ventilator care setting. You will deliver high-quality respiratory care to residents on ventilators and trachs, with autonomy and collaborative support from a dedicated nursing team.

The role offers flexible day or night shifts, opportunities to earn extra income, and potential path to part-time or full-time roles as needs arise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active Ohio RRT license.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• 1+ years experience in ventilator/trach care preferred; new grads welcome with interest.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in geriatric long-term care environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care for residents on ventilators and trachs.
• Perform ventilator checks and adjust settings per orders; maintain tracheostomies.
• Administer nebulizers, bronchodilators and other prescribed therapies.
• Monitor respiratory status, document thoroughly, respond to changes or emergencies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and on-call team for care plans.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and ensure readiness of respiratory equipment.
• Support admissions, weaning, and shift handoffs with clear communication.
