Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to residents on ventilators and oxygen overnight.
• Monitor respiratory status and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct ventilator checks and trach care.
• Document all care, treatments and resident changes.
• Coordinate with overnight nursing staff and on-call providers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
• Support new admissions and communicate overnight updates to the day team.

Our team is dedicated to supporting the unique needs of each individual, and we're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our nightshift team.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NIGHTSHIFT, you will provide expert respiratory care and therapy to our residents overnight, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will work closely with our overnight nursing staff and on-call medical professionals to deliver seamless, around-the-clock care. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RRT to join our team and help us provide the highest level of care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and therapy to residents on ventilators and oxygen through the night
• Monitor and assess respiratory status regularly, responding quickly and skillfully to emergencies
• Conduct ventilator checks, trach care, and administer bronchodilator therapies
• Thoroughly document all care, treatments, and resident changes during your shift
• Partner with overnight nursing staff and on-call medical professionals to ensure seamless, around-the-clock care
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure safety for every resident
• Support new admissions and communicate any overnight developments to the day team

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active Ohio RRT license
• At least one year of experience in respiratory care strongly preferred
• Skills in ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and passionate about resident well-being
