Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree.
• RCP license required to practice in the state.
• NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT) preferred or required depending on date.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using pulmonary diagnostics and related tests.
• Operate ventilators and assist with procedures as directed.
• Administer prescribed therapies and monitor responses.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Educate patients on therapy goals and self-care.
• Communicate clearly with the care team and document processes.
