Job summary

Concept Rehab in Alma, MI is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team on a PRN basis. This flexible role provides hands-on care, helping patients reach therapy goals within a skilled nursing facility setting.

Under the direction of a licensed PT, you will assist with mobility, transfers, strengthening, balance, and functional activities; follow treatment plans; document progress; and communicate with the supervising PT and care team.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable and professional.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, strengthening, balance, and functional activities.
• Follow individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient response and progress.
• Communicate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide encouraging, respectful, patient-focused care.
