Job summary

Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting in Charlevoix, Michigan is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a flexible PRN position. You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to deliver skilled, patient-centered care in a supportive team environment.

You'll help patients improve daily living activities, exercise and mobility, document progress, and collaborate with PT and other clinicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Michigan OTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions according to established treatment plans.
• Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Assist patients with improving strength, coordination, mobility and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers as appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Promote patient safety and positive outcomes.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
