Job summary

Cherish Hospice in Youngstown, OH is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate hospice care in patients' homes and community settings. This role emphasizes flexible hours, strong clinical judgment, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ease symptoms and support families.

As a licensed NP with hospice experience, you will assess patients, manage pain and symptoms, write prescriptions when appropriate, and document care in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license (FNP, AGNP, or similar).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Current professional liability insurance.
• 1+ years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and symptom management.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate to ensure comfort.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, social workers, and chaplains.
• Document care accurately in line with hospice regulations.
• Respond to urgent patient needs and perform visits as required.
