Job summary

CareRing Health, LLC is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to manage and coordinate skilled nursing care in clients' homes across Farmville, VA. The role focuses on maximizing rehabilitation and recovery by delivering comprehensive nursing services and coordinating referrals as needed.

You will perform initial and periodic assessments, implement physician-approved care plans, educate families on medications, and support on-call weekend visits.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Registered Nurse license.
• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Has a minimum of two years of acute care experience or demonstrated ability in related areas.
• Has current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and human relations skills.
• Able to function with minimal supervision.
• Able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Able to employ critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial and periodic comprehensive assessments for admission and ongoing care.
• Accepts client admissions and weekend on-call assignments.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care per physician-approved plans.
• Performs treatments requiring specialized skills.
• Observes changes and reports to leadership and physician as appropriate.
• Educates patients and families on medications and procedures.
