Job summary

CareRing Health, LLC is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to manage and coordinate skilled nursing services in clients' homes, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.

The nurse will perform comprehensive assessments, admissions, on-call weekend coverage, and education for patients and families, using physician-approved care plans and nursing protocols.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Registered Nurse license.
• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Minimum two years of acute care experience requiring heart, lung, and physical assessments.
• CPR certification current.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Ability to employ critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial and periodic comprehensive assessments of clients, caregivers, and home environments for admission to and continued service from the Agency to determine needs, effectiveness of care provided, and achievement of anticipated outcomes.
• Accepts client admissions as assigned by Agency and weekend on-call assignments
• Provides comprehensive nursing care through the utilization of the home assessment, nursing diagnoses, and physician-approved care plans.
• Performs treatment(s) requiring specialized skills ordered by the physician.
• Observes signs and symptoms and reports them to the VP of Clinical Services / Director of Professional Services and/or physician as appropriate.
• Notes changes in physical or emotional status of clients.
• Assesses nutritional needs and diet of clients as ordered by physician.
• Educated patients families on medication and procedures.
