Job summary

Home Recovery-HomeAid, Inc is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to coordinate care in clients' homes, delivering skilled nursing services and referrals to support rehabilitation and recovery.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and 2+ years in acute care with cardiac and respiratory assessments or equivalent skills. Excellent communication and the ability to handle multiple priorities are essential in a dynamic home health setting.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Registered Nurse license.
• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Two years of acute-setting experience with heart, lung, and physical assessments or equivalent education.
• Current CPR certification; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to function with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Ability to employ critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial and periodic comprehensive assessments of clients and home environments for admission and ongoing service.
• Accepts client admissions as assigned and weekend on-call duties.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care using home assessments, diagnoses, and physician-approved care plans.
• Performs treatments requiring specialized skills ordered by the physician.
• Observes signs and reports changes to leadership or physician as appropriate.
• Notes changes in physical or emotional status of clients.
• Assesses nutritional needs and diet as ordered.
• Educates patients and families on medications and procedures.
