Job summary

Boone Supported Living is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals for a flexible PRN coverage role in Missouri. The position offers a starting wage of $22.00 per hour with a $3.25 per hour premium while in PRN status and opportunities for wage growth through apprenticeships and bonuses.

PRN DSPs cover shifts based on organizational needs, averaging at least 16 hours weekly and submitting their availability three weeks in advance.

Qualifications

• At least six months of professional Direct Support Professional or direct‑care experience.
• Ability to average at least 16 hours per week.
• Submit availability at least three weeks in advance.
• Willingness to work available shifts without a guaranteed recurring schedule.
• Dependable transportation and ability to report to assigned work locations.
• Ability to complete all required training and employment screenings.
• Strong communication, documentation, and time‑management skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and team‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person‑centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, community participation, and household routines.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document them accurately.
• Follow individualized support plans, behavioral plans, and dietary requirements.
• Complete daily notes and other required documentation.
• Help individuals work toward personal goals and greater independence.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, coworkers, managers, and the Scheduling team.
• Follow all attendance, training, professional‑development, and organizational requirements.
