Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes in St. Petersburg, FL. The role supports geriatric patients to maintain independence and safety, with a flexible PRN schedule and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and safety
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home
