Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT.
• Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the therapy team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and strategies that support safety and independence.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
