Job summary

Autumn Lake at Birch Manor in Sykesville, MD is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver hands-on therapy under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

The role includes carrying out treatment plans, helping residents with ADLs and mobility, and documenting progress. A Maryland COTA license, strong communication and teamwork, and SNF/rehabilitation experience are preferred. Direct hire; no agency.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland COTA license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Help residents improve ADLs, strength, coordination, mobility, and functional skills
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising OT
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Complete required clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team
