Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for a PRN per diem role in Hockessin, DE. You will service contracted schools and coordinate access to health care for student athletes, partnering with Goldey Beacom College.

Schedule varies to match coverage needs; compensation ranges per hour based on experience. We value patient-centered care and offer continuing education opportunities, a nationwide support network, a 401(k) plan after hours, and a diverse team

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in athletic training or related field.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification.
• CPR certification.
• Applicable state license where required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine needs and administer athletic training techniques to decrease injury risk.
• Assess effectiveness of training/rehabilitation and document athlete response.
• Manage emergencies and coordinate EMS and acute care, including BLS.
• Seek outreach opportunities and represent the company at events.
