Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in the Greater Philadelphia Area seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide athletic healthcare services to contracted schools and teams. This PRN/PerDiem role offers flexible hours and opportunities across high school, college, and outreach settings, collaborating with athletic trainers, sports PTs, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training required.
• NATA-BOC certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
• Assess injury risk and apply proper athletic training techniques during games/practices.
• Document outcomes and adjust plans within the prescribed care plan.
• Manage emergencies, coordinate EMS and basic life support as needed.
