Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for student athletes. This PRN position serves contracted schools and coordinates access to health care for their student athletes, with a schedule that adapts to coverage needs in Phoenixville, PA.

Hourly compensation ranges from $40.00 to $55.00, based on experience. Qualifications include a B.S. in Athletic Training, NATA-BOC certification, CPR, and an applicable state license. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree is required.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Applicable state license where required is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Assess effectiveness of rehabilitation techniques and document athlete progress.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures.
• Promote the company through outreach events and community involvement.
