Job summary

Centria Healthcare is hiring CNAs and HHAs for in-home, one-on-one care in Michigan. The role focuses on safety, comfort, and independence in a private home setting, with a pet-free environment. Caregivers support mobility, daily living activities, and document client status.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification or equivalent home-care experience.
• Experience with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients is highly desired.
• Able to perform safe transfers and assist with personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe client transfers and mobility support to prevent falls.
• Provide timely medication reminders.
• Transportation to grocery stores and medical appointments.
• Light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Provide basic personal care including hygiene, toileting, and dressing.
• Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed.
• Prepare light meals, snacks, or drinks on request.
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance during shifts.
• Document and report changes in client condition promptly.
• Respond to emergencies following proper procedures.
• Follow the patient’s plan of care and professional standards.
