Job summary

Centria Healthcare in Michigan is seeking CNAs and HHAs to provide compassionate in-home support to clients in private homes around Novi. You will work one-on-one to meet mobility and care needs, ensuring safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred.
• Experience with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients is strongly desired.
• Comfort with personal care tasks and documentation on tablets/computers.
• Reliable, patient, and attentive to individual needs.
• Able to work independently and follow a care plan.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls.
• Provide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing.
• Monitor oxygen therapy as needed and report changes promptly.
• Prepare light snacks or drinks upon request.
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance during shifts.
• Positioning and turning to prevent discomfort.
• Document and report changes in client condition promptly.
• Respond to emergencies following proper procedures.
• Follow the patient care plan and maintain a safe home environment.
