Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification or equivalent home-care experience.
• Experience with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients is highly desired.
• Able to perform safe transfers and assist with personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely medication reminders.
• Transportation to grocery stores and medical appointments.
• Light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home environment.

• Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and case needs

About the Role

Centria caregivers provide essential in-home support to help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in a private home setting, supporting their unique care needs. Please note: This is a pet-free home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe client transfers and mobility support to prevent falls

• Assist with light household upkeep and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Provide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing
• Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed
• Prepare light meals, snacks, or drinks upon request
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance throughout the shift
• Assist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfort
• Document and report changes in client condition promptly
• Respond to emergencies following proper procedures
• Perform duties as outlined in the patient’s plan of care
• Follow professional standards, care policies, and local/state/federal requirements

Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred
• Experience working with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients strongly desired
• Comfortable assisting with safe transfers and personal care tasks
• Reliable, patient, and attentive to individual needs
• Comfortable working in a private home setting (no pets)
• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable using tablets/computers for documentation

Documentation & Requirements

To be eligible for employment, all caregivers must provide the following:

• Valid Driver’s License (Required for client transportation)
• Proof of Auto Insurance (with your name listed on the policy)
• Current CPR Certification
• Clear Background Check
• Negative TB Test Results
