Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher - Floater in Peoria, IL. You will support daily classroom operations, help deliver Cadence Education programs, and foster a safe, nurturing environment for children including those with IEPs.

Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will maintain routines, support curriculum delivery, and build positive relationships with families. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Experience in early childhood or group care settings preferred.
• State licensing requirements compliance and background clearances.
• CDA preferred but not required if state licensing is satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing individual developmental and learning needs including following IEPs.
• Support lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education safety and supervision policies and document incidents.
