Job summary

Luxor Healthcare in Saint Peters, MO is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our clinical team. The PT will provide patient care and assessments in line with standards and physician orders, collaborating with the evaluating therapist to maximize patient outcomes.

The role supports discharge planning and patient education, with opportunities for advancement within a supportive corporate team. The position offers full-time, part-time and PRN shifts with a focus on delivering quality therapy

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong clinical assessment and patient care abilities.
• Ability to implement therapy plans and evaluate patient progress.
• Effective communication with healthcare team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/client care and assessment per standards and policies.
• Implements care per physician’s orders and plan developed by evaluating therapist.
• Takes measurements of patient status within licensure limits to assess care effectiveness.
• Maintains communication with evaluating therapist to maximize benefits of therapy.
• Implements education plan and identifies additional educational needs with evaluating therapist.
• Assists with discharge planning and follow-up assessments as needed.
• Communicates with patient, family, caregivers, and healthcare team to optimize care outcomes.
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of clinical techniques and programs for the setting and populations served.
• Applies modalities and equipment appropriately.
