Job summary

On the Road to Wellness in Manchester, NH seeks per diem Residential Peer Support Specialist to join the Step-Up Step-Down residential team. Per diem staff provide as-needed coverage based on staffing needs and availability, offering flexibility while staying connected to peer support and recovery work. The role operates 24/7; shifts vary.

Pay is $17.00 per hour, paid biweekly. Training is provided; no holidays, PTO, health/dental insurance, or retirement benefits for this role.

• Willingness to complete training to become a Certified New Hampshire Peer Support Specialist within one year of hire
• The ability to work independently while also functioning collaboratively as part of a peer-led residential team
• The ability to adapt to the changing needs of a 24-hour residential environment

Responsibilities

• Provide as-needed residential coverage to support program staffing.
• Use peer-support principles to create a respectful, supportive environment for residents.
• Assist residents with connection to community resources and supports.
• Support transportation, groups, and activities as needed within the program.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and recovery-oriented living environment.
