Job summary

Spindle is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support K12 students in Huntsville, AL, on a per diem basis. You will manage your own shifts and work with BCBA supervision to provide targeted behavioral interventions in school settings.

Ideal candidates have experience with school-aged children, data collection, and maintaining confidentiality. The role offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional experience supporting school-aged children with behavioral needs.
• Preferred: 2+ years of prior experience in a school-based environment.
• Comfort with toileting assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions to students under supervision.
• Implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity during school hours.
• Collect and record accurate behavioral data and progress notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school personnel to support student success.
• Support students across various settings, adapting approach to meet individual needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times.
