Job summary

Spindle is seeking a per diem paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support K-12 students in Virginia. The role offers flexible scheduling aligned with the school calendar and immediate start after onboarding through the Spindle App for scheduling, hours, and pay details.

Licensed professionals with experience in special education and strong collaboration will contribute to student progress.

Qualifications

• Current VA Paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in special education classroom environments required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral support and assistance to students in K-12 settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and behavior analysts to implement individualized education and behavior plans.
• Monitor, track, and document student progress and incidents as required.
• Adapt strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Contribute to creating a supportive and safe classroom atmosphere.
• Assist in managing classroom routines and supporting instructional activities.
