Ideal candidates hold a Minnesota OT license, CPR/BLS, and have home health experience. You can travel between visits with mileage reimbursement and flexible per-visit scheduling to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous home health experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel within the Twin Cities Metro Area.
• Mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in patients' homes based on individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop strategies to improve ADLs and IADLs.
• Address functional limitations related to strength, balance, cognition, and mobility.
• Educate patients on adaptive equipment and safety strategies to enhance independence.
• Assess home environments and provide fall prevention recommendations.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies.
• Monitor progress, update treatment approaches, and document findings.
