Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking flexible, dependable, and compassionate Per Diem Direct Care Staff to join our relief pool in the Springfield, MA area. This role offers ultimate scheduling flexibility and the chance to support residents with development and daily living needs.

You will cover shifts across multiple residential sites, assist with personal care, medication administration, and advocacy to promote independence, while adhering to required trainings and background checks.

Qualifications

• MAP Certification preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Background check required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Medication administration for residents; MAP certified staff preferred.
• Build professional, person-centered relationships with residents while maintaining boundaries.
• Advocate for residents to increase independence in community settings.
