Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking licensed Physical Therapists to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers in home and community settings across California.

The role offers a generous sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, and mileage reimbursement within a nationwide program. Responsibilities include conducting developmental assessments, implementing the IFSP, coaching families, and delivering services in homes and other community settings with confidentiality and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide physical therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in homes, daycare centers and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
