Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues with precision across notices, corrections, amendments, and pay & file processes. You will handle high-volume cases, mentor colleagues, and grow technical depth while maintaining independent ownership of complex matters.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in state and federal notices, amended returns, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely compliance and quality outcomes.

Qualificações

• 2–3+ years hands-on payroll tax experience focused on notices, amendments, and corrections across multiple states.
• Understand IRS/state notice types; read notices and determine resolution path.
• Experience preparing amended Federal/State payroll tax returns (941-X, W-2c).

Responsabilidades

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax casework for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices, including balance-due and deposit discrepancies.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation within deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns independently on complex amendments.
• Support correction workflows and document the audit trail through to resolution.
• Maintain organized case documentation and manage workload by SLA.
• Analyze data to identify process or system deficiencies and contribute to SOPs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with related teams and coach junior staff.
