Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County & Southern Utah is seeking a Substitute Youth Development Professional to provide coverage at various program sites when regular staff are absent. This part-time, hourly role offers shifts across Washington County Schools, with an hourly rate of $15-$18 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth ages 5–12 or 13–18 in an educational or youth development setting.
• Experience working on a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different sites, staff teams, and program environments.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with youth through active engagement and mentorship.
• Provide active supervision and maintain a safe environment.
• Participate in games, recreation, and enrichment activities.
• Lead or assist with physical activities, including sports and playground games.
• Supervise outdoor activities and recess in varying weather conditions.
• Follow lesson plans and activity schedules provided by site staff.
• Attend required trainings as assigned.
