Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County & Southern Utah is seeking a part-time Youth Development Professional (YDP) for the Beaver area (Milford & Belknap Elementary). Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, totaling about 15–22 hours weekly during the 2026-2027 school year.

The YDP will build positive relationships with youth, provide active supervision, and deliver engaging, safe programming while supporting social and emotional development.

Qualifications

Experience with youth ages 5–12 or 13–18.
Teamwork and collaboration within a program team.
Proficiency with Google Suite and general computer applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships with youth through active engagement and mentorship.
Provide active supervision and maintain a safe environment.
Participate in games, recreation, and enrichment activities.
Lead and support physical activities, including sports and playground games.
Supervise outdoor activities and recess in varying weather conditions.
Attend attendance tracking, surveys, and program documentation.
Follow lesson plans and activity schedules.
