Job summary

Nelson‑Jameson, Inc. is seeking a part-time Warehouse Operations Associate for our Fairview, PA distribution center. You will help receive, store, and ship products to our customers in the food and dairy manufacturing sector.

The role supports a small, collaborative team handling receiving, order picking, shipping, and inventory control, using RF scanners and P21 ERP system. A focus on accuracy, accountability, and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in a warehouse or distribution center, order fulfillment, shipping or receiving.
• Detail oriented with strong accuracy.
• Reliable, accountable, and able to work independently and in a small team.
• Able to follow directions and adapt in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Physical: lift up to 56 lbs frequently; up to 75 lbs occasionally; push/pull up to 115 lbs.
• Experience with forklifts and RF scanners is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS like Prophet 21 (P21).

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, verify PO, and complete documentation.
• Pick and pack orders for shipping modes including LTL and parcel.
• Prepare and ship outbound orders with accurate confirmations.
• Use RF scanners and P21 ERP to track inventory movements.
• Execute put-away processes for efficient storage and accessibility.
• Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment as trained.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily goals and ensure timely orders.
• Cross-train across functions for operational flexibility.
