Job summary

Allied Universal in Arlington, VA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol with DoD security clearance. You will monitor assigned areas, deliver customer service, and support a safe environment while maintaining professional communications and incident documentation.

The role offers flexible day and night shifts, a pay rate of 25.12 per hour, and opportunities to learn, grow, and claim additional shifts through our platform. A high school diploma and active clearance are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Computer or tablet comfort preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and document observations for reporting.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities and report hazards or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry points and verify visitor/contractor credentials.
• Maintain logs and incident reports per company/site requirements.
