Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol Coordination in Arlington, VA. Earn $27.39 per hour and build a flexible schedule using the Claim a Shift platform. Join a team focused on safety, integrity, and community service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, reporting incidents, and providing professional customer service to tenants and staff. A DoD Secret clearance and two years of security experience are required or preferred

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building entrances, common areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report access concerns or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
