Rehab Solutions is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a hospital setting in Henderson, TX. The role is Part-Time or PRN, supporting UT Health Hospitals in the Henderson area.

You will perform patient assessments, provide evidence-based therapies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support smooth discharge planning. The position offers flexible Part-Time/PRN arrangements with opportunities for growth, competitive compensation, and clinical support in a dynamic hospital

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• Certification: ASHA CCC-SLP.
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and EHR systems; ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders using standardized tests and bedside clinical assessments.
• Implement evidence-based therapy interventions for speech, language, voice, and swallowing; adjust treatment plans based on patient progress; educate patients, families, and care teams on treatment strategies and safe swallow protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards and payor requirements.
• Partner with UT Health physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and interprofessional teams to ensure seamless patient care and safe discharge planning.
