Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (state)
  • Graduate of accredited Speech Pathology curriculum
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and accurate billing documentation
  • Experience with Word, Excel and EMR documentation

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily speech and language pathology treatment to patients as prescribed by physicians.
  • Evaluate and assess patients; design and implement treatment programs; update patient case files.
  • Carry out supervisor-driven clinical activities and participate in progress reassessments and reviews.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about therapy plans and progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for billing purposes and compliance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure a safe, clean clinical environment and adequate supplies.
