Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Indianapolis, IN. This role provides flexible, reliable hours with a base schedule and opportunities to pick up additional shifts across sites.

Pay is $18.80 per hour, with daytime night options, designed for income stability and potential progression within the industry leader. Ideal candidates bring a HS diploma, pass background checks and drug screens, and have or can obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed roving patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; direct guests as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and file reports.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate observations to leadership and clients.
