Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Roving Patrol in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide security services, perform roving patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while working a fixed anchor shift and optional extra shifts.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth. Minimum requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening where applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and assist with credential verification.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and complete required reports.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate observations to leadership and client representatives.
