Job summary

Allied Universal in Troutdale, OR is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver - Retail to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a designated site.

This role offers part-time hours with the potential to pick up additional shifts, a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, and opportunities for training and career growth within the industry leader. It features fixed-anchor shifts and a program to claim additional shifts, enabling earnings up to full-time schedules when desired.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail center, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report incidents, property concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
