Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Part Time in Baltimore, MD to provide reliable, flexible security coverage at an assigned site and to help sustain earnings through additional shifts when available.

The role offers a part‑time schedule with weekend nights, a pay rate of $16.50 per hour, and opportunities to grow through paid training and advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare residential setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including medical emergencies, resident concerns, access‑related issues, and fire or life‑related alarms.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and entry procedures in accordance with site‑specific policies; communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking locations, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
