Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Experience in loss prevention preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following security procedures.
Respond to incidents calmly and document details, informing site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular patrols throughout the retail location to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and report unusual behavior or maintenance concerns to the proper personnel.
Support loss prevention by remaining visible and following post orders.
