Job summary

Allied Universal in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer to provide reliable, site-based security and customer service at a financial institution. The role pays $24.00 per hour with fixed shifts and options to pick up additional shifts via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

The position offers a six-month anchor shift, opportunities to scale hours toward a full schedule up to 40 hours per week, and a path to career growth within the industry leader.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and comply with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable armed officer procedures.
