Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Access Control Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and deter incidents with a professional presence at a fast-paced distribution location.

A valid driver’s license is required and prior security experience is preferred. Schedule includes DayTime on Saturdays and Sundays, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery authorizations, maintain logs, and control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and shipments.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts or leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow at entry and exit points, directing visitors and drivers.
