Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Sulphur, LA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts across sites, designed for part-time scheduling with potential to expand to full-time hours where available.

Pay rate is $15.50 per hour. The position requires a valid driver’s license and security-related experience as outlined in the minimum requirements.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where job is located.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical and petrochemical location following site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Verify identification, credentials, access authorizations, and vehicle or delivery information before entry to restricted areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and alarm or communication systems; maintain visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, perimeter areas, and designated facilities to deter unauthorized entry and identify security concerns.
