Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Burkville, AL. The role offers flexible part-time hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts, up to around 40 hours per week, depending on site demand.

Pay rate is $15.65 per hour, with benefits and growth potential. You will perform unarmed driver patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document patrols and events according to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver license valid for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide client services and follow site security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and hazardous-material concerns.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting entries.
• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports per site procedures.
