Job summary

Allied Universal in Amarillo, TX is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Inspection to provide flexible, reliable security coverage at an assigned site. You will perform vehicle patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with a professional demeanor.

The role offers weekly pay and anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings. A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, background check, and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or associates following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct routine and random patrols of the retail site to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report observations per site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor and vendor interactions, and incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor and vendor interactions, and incident documentation while helping to maintain an orderly retail environment.
