Job summary

Allied Universal in Wilmer, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver to provide reliable, flexible hours at a designated site. This role offers a fixed shift with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform, and the potential to earn more.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe environment for clients and visitors. A valid driver's license and willingness to undergo background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and service‑related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
